Australia lands two on Titanium

CANNES: Clemenger BBDO Sydney and Lowe + Rivet Sydney have scored one shortlisted entry each for the prestigious Titanium & Integrated Competition, while Publicis Mojo Auckland landed New Zealand's one chance at a gong.
Clemenger's "No one thinks big of you" campaign, better known as "Pinkie", for NSW Roads & Traffic Authority and Lowe Rivet's "Welcome Snoop" work for MTV Australia made the cut from a total of 432 entries from 39 countries. Clemenger's "Pinkie" campaign was the winner of this year's AdNews Campaign of the Year.
Publicis Mojo Auckland was also shortlisted for its already awarded Speights "Great Beer Delivery". Australia submitted 12 entries, down from 2007's 15, while New Zealand entered 16.
The US landed the most shortlisted entries, with 13 from a total 119 submissions. The UK has three shortlisted with Australia, Canada, Belgium and The Netherlands all with two.
The Titanium Lions, the brainchild of Dan Weiden, were originally introduced in 2003 and relaunched in 2005. They aim to recognise "ground-breaking and innovative concepts in the world of advertising".
Winners will be announced 9pm Saturday night (21 June), Cannes time.
